Terms & Conditions
Momentum Tours & Travel, Inc. (Florida License # ST35769), is the designated Tour Operator for all tours unless otherwise mentioned.
Prices
All listed prices are per person and based upon double occupancy. Single supplements will apply for travelers choosing single rooms. The rates listed are based on today’s exchange rates. In case of currency fluctuation of more than 3% and/or fuel surcharges, we reserve the right to adjust all rates without further notice.
Land only packages
All tours are sold as land-only packages. However, we are pleased to assist with booking flights. We are under no circumstances responsible for flight delays or cancellations.
Reservations
To make a reservation, please fill out the supplied registration form. The form must be readable. Passport information is required before the departure. We will request it later if you do not know your passport number when booking. A $300 deposit per person is required. The deposit can be paid with a check, bank transfer, or credit card. The registration form and deposit must be forwarded to Momentum Tours & Travel, and confirmations are only given upon receipt of the registration form and deposit.
Final Payments
A pro forma invoice specifying the full payment amount will be issued upon receipt of the registration form and deposit. Final payment (for most tours) is due 90 days before departure. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation if the final payment is not received on time and impose the published cancellation fees. A 3.8% fee will be added to the total for payments made with a credit card.
Cancellations and Refunds
Should you need to cancel your tour, we will refund your payment less the following cancellation fees:
Up to 90 days before the departure: No fee
89 to 60 days before the departure: 25% of the cost
59 to 30 days before the departure: 50% of the cost
29 days or less before the departure: Full payment
Some tours may require different rules for payments and refunds. Always check the terms for the specific tour.
Please note that other suppliers, such as airlines, might impose additional cancellation fees. Some tours may require different rules for payments and refunds.
Minimum number of participants
The minimum number for each departure varies from tour to tour. Please check the minimum number required for each tour. The tour can be canceled if the required number has not been reached. Should this occur, we will refund your deposit and payment in full.
Changes & special arrangements
If you want a tour reserved exclusively for you and your party, we can accommodate your request unless other bookings have been made before your request. To make one of our published tours private, please note the following:
A private tour can be confirmed either at the published cost or with an additional cost, pending the tour
If you want to customize your tour, we always offer the best rate possible based on the program
Travel Protection Plans
We strongly recommend that each traveler purchase a Travel Protection Plan (Travel Insurance). Information about travel protection will be forwarded upon request and included in the confirmation information after registration for a tour.
Passports & visas
Each participant must possess a U.S. or Canadian passport valid for at least six months after completing the tour. If a visa is required, it is each traveler’s responsibility to obtain the visa. Necessary documents and instructions on where to apply will be provided. Momentum Tours can under no circumstances be held responsible for a missing visa.
Disclaimer
Momentum Tours & Travel, Inc. (from now on “Tour Operator”) and its representatives shall act only as independent contractors for various and independent suppliers of services in connection with its tours in making arrangements for accommodation, transport, meals, or any other service, and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, inconvenience, expense, damage or loss of property, death, cancellation, change in itinerary, accident, irregularity or delay due to an act of negligence of, or default of, any hotel, carrier, motor coach company, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour, or by an act of God. Further, the Tour Operator is not responsible for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, or other causes. No responsibility shall be incurred for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing, or other acts of any government or other authority. When issued, the passenger contract issued by the airlines, steamship, and railroad companies shall constitute the sole contract between such companies and the purchaser of these tours and passengers. All baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the tours, and the Tour Operator is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to luggage. The right is reserved to withdraw from any tour listed herein and to make such changes to the tour as may be found desirable for the convenience, comfort, and welfare of the parties and properly carry out the tour without penalty to the Tour Operator. Additional expenses, if any, will be borne by the passenger. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to revise the itinerary routing. If, due to such cases, a change becomes necessary in the sole opinion of the Tour Operator, the hotels substituted shall be of the same quality as those listed in the itinerary. The Tour Operator assumes no financial liability for any resulting losses, expenses, or inconvenience. No refunds will be made for portions of transport, tours, rooms, or meals, and no credit can be allowed for unused accommodation. However, the tour cost will be refunded if the Tour Operator cancels the tour before the published departure date. Unless otherwise noted, all prices are per person, based on two people sharing a hotel room. Prices are based on rates in effect (including foreign exchange rates) at the time of printing and are thus subject to increase or decrease without notice. The Tour Operator is not responsible for typographical or other inadvertently written errors.
