Central Europe will always be a major destination for the Jewish traveler because of its strong connection to our history and heritage. Thought-provoking, culturally rich, and scenic, this part of the world offers an array of choices. Combine beautiful old Budapest with charming and historic Prague, home of the Jewish writer Franz Kafka. And Berlin – fascinating in spite of its dark past - is, surprisingly, today, a welcoming destination for the Jewish traveler.

All Private tours are based on specific dates, services & standards - all chosen by you. As each tour, therefore, will be different, we will make you our best offer, based on your requests. Here is just one sample:

    Day 1 Departure to Budapest

    Day 2-4 Budapest
Explore this magnificent imperial city, rich with historic landmarks on both sides of the Danube river which divides the city. Most notable are the Royal Palace, the Parliament and the magnificent Opera House. The Jewish traveler is rewarded with sights such as the lavish Dohany Synagogue (second largest in the world), the Memorial Tree, the Jewish Museum (the birthplace of Herzl) and the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial.

    Day 5-7 Prague
This charming city boasts a well-preserved Jewish Quarter. Visit beautiful synagogues, and lose yourself in one of the best Judaica collections in the world. You will also have time to visit the moving Terezin camp. In addition, don't miss the spectacular Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and the picturesque Lesser Town.

    Day 8-10 Berlin
A tour of this fascinating city includes famous sites such as “Check Point Charlie,” the Alexanderplatz, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, the great Concert Hall, and much more. Jewish aspects of Berlin include the former Jewish Quarter and awe-inspiring Jewish Museum and the new Holocaust Memorial in the center of this rebuilt city. Today, Berlin represents the fastest-growing Jewish community in Europe.

    Day 11 Berlin - USA
Other places frequently visited in Central Europe:
Vienna, Poland (Krakow & Warsaw), or a visit to former ancestral home, village or town. There are many more opportunities than we can mention here.
