Participate and have a cultural and ecological learning experience while having fun with a catamaran cruise, jungle adventure challenge, hot springs, canopy rides through the jungles, horseback riding, visits to volcanoes and waterfalls, Give yourself and your loved ones an unforgettable treat!     Day 1 Sunday Dec 21 USA – San Jose – Manuel Antonio
    Depart on your flight from the USA to Costa Rica. Upon arrival at Juan Santa Maria International Airport, you are greeted by our Tour Director. Costa Ricans, known affectionately as "Ticos," are open and friendly. En route to your Pacific-coast hotel in Manuel Antonio, your native guide will brief you on the surrounding natural wonders and fun, adventure-filled days that await you in the days ahead. The drive across the Central Mountains is filled with vistas which herald the beauty of this Central American country. Remainder of the day at leisure to unwind at the pool or at the beach. Welcome Dinner. Villa Teca Hotel.

    Day 2 Monday Dec 22 Manuel Antonio
    Breakfast at the hotel. What better way to spend a winterday than on a Pacific Island cruise! Broad the “Breeze” and sail around the Gulf of Nicoya (possibly spying a school of dolphins or the occasional sea turtle) to the gorgeous Tortuga Island. Tortuga is possibly the most beautiful island in the area, with powdery sand and clean, clear water loaded with a wide variety of colorful tropical fish. Relax on the beach, paticipate in games or snorkel. A barbeque Lunch is served on the beach. Later, board the catamaran for the cruise back and arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon after a refreshing day on the water. Dinner on your own. Villa Teca Hotel.

    Day 3 Tuesday Dec 23 Manuel Antonio – Catamaran Cruise – Manuel Antonio
    Breakfast at the hotel. Today, begin with an exciting visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, the most famous of Costa Rica’s many national parks. Here you may encounter sloths, several breeds of monkeys, and many exotic birds (including the toucan, or "Froot Loops" bird!), while listening to an informative talk on the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent site. Lunch in a local restaurant. Later return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner on your own. Villa Teca Hotel.

    Day 4 Wednesday Dec 24 Manuel Antonio – Arenal
    Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. After a short drive along the coast, get ready for a Jungle Adventure Chanllenge.  Here you will test yourself and your team as you meet challenges in the jungle filled with sleeping giants! Cross crocodile gulch, climb the snake tree to rescue a golden monkey, cross the quicksand swamp, and do a log walk at waterfalls pass. It is all safe and a fun excersise for all ages (minimum age is 8 years). Will your team win? Later continue towards the mountains and Costa Rica’s protected Rain Forests, volcanoes and a wildlife unique to the nation. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a little time to rest. In the late afternoon, visit the famous Arenal Volcano National Park. The visit is scheduled to include dusk when this active volcano is best visible (not visible on cloudy days). Later, return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Cattaratas Resort, Arenal.

    Day 5 Thursday Dec 25 Arenal – Tierras Enamoradas
    Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check out. Enjoy a pleasurable morning at the Titoku Hot Springs. Relax in the thermal hot springs and pools surrounded by a beautiful setting. Later, continue to the Arenal Hanging Bridges, one of the most beautiful environmental friendly projects in Costa Rica. Located in front of the Arenal Volcano the trails and bridges bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the nature. Here you catch sight of birds, lush vegetation and flowers of the primary rainforest. During the walk (about 2 hours) you will truly experience life in the canopy of the Rain Forest and as well as enjoying vistas of the volcano. After the walk, take a refreshing “shower” at the fortuna Waterfall. Lunch is served during the program. In the afternoon, continue to the Lands in Love Resort, Tierras Enamoradas, beautifully located in the Cloud Forest of Costa Rica. Dinner at the hotel. Lands in Love Resort.

    Day 6 Friday Dec 26 Tierras Enamoradas
    Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s activities are all favorites of the Cloud Forest. Begin with the thrilling experience of a canopy ride at the top of the forest. This canopy ride is the most exciting of all in Costa Rica and a time for fun for the entire family (while being safe). For the more adventuous, crown this part of activities with a ride on the largest cable in Costa Rica (1700 feet). Here you can free float across the valley with speed up to 60 miles an hour! A short drive takes you back to the hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful horse back ride through meadows and the rainforest. Return by horse back to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at the hotel. Lands in Love Resort.

    Day 7 Saturday Tierras Enamoradas – La Paz – Tierras Enamoradas
    Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure at the hotel or join an excursion to the La Paz waterfall and a visit to a Coffee Plantation. At the plantation, you will learn all the stages of coffee production – from first-choice bean to fabulous refreshing cup. You will be able to sample all the roasts and purchase unique gifts. Next, visit the La Paz Waterfall Center, and learn about the rich flora and avian life for which Costa Rica is famous. Along the path to the falls, you will stop to see butterflies and the ever-lively hummingbirds. From special viewing platforms enjoy thrilling views of the roaring falls, surrounded by thick green growth of the forest, vines and indigenous plants. Return to the hotel in the early afternoon. Farewell Dinner at the hotel. Lands in Love resort.

    Day 8 Sunday Tierras Enamoradas – San Jose – USA
    Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out and transfer to the Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose. On the flight, recall a trip full of natural wonders and unforgettable adventures. Adios, paradiso.
